Questions before you start
Does it take delivery-app orders?
No. Govia does not connect to delivery apps. It runs reservations, tables, groups, occasions and the table bill.
Does it replace my POS?
It takes table orders, issues the invoice and closes the till, but does not run detailed kitchen inventory. It works alongside a POS if you rely on one.
Does it send WhatsApp reminders?
Yes. Confirmation, a reminder the day before and a message when a booking is changed or cancelled.
Can guests pay with mada and Apple Pay?
Yes. Group deposits and invoices are paid from their link by mada, Apple Pay or card with the payment gateway on.
Are the invoices ZATCA compliant?
Govia issues ZATCA-ready simplified tax invoices with a QR code (generation phase).
