Govia

Barbershop software that runs the queue and the till

Walk-ins take a number and know their wait, a free chair calls the next one, and the barber closes his own client's bill at his chair. At closing: each barber's takings, commission and the drawer.

The queue: today's sales and who is waiting now, with a New number form that adds a walk-in in seconds

What wears an owner down every day

  • Thursday rush with no order

Ten men waiting, each asking when his turn is, and one leaves angry because someone walked in ahead of him.

  • Cash nobody can reconcile

Every barber takes money from his own client, the drawer never matches at night, and you cannot tell what each chair earned.

  • Regulars who quietly drift away

A client who came every three weeks has been gone two months, and nobody noticed or reminded him.

What Govia gives you

  • A numbered walk-in queue

Each walk-in takes a number with an estimated wait, asks for his barber or the first free chair, and anyone who leaves before his turn is logged.

  • Call display

A full-screen view of the number being called, the ones before it and how many are waiting, for the screen in your waiting area.

  • «Your turn» on WhatsApp

A message with his number and wait when he joins, and «دوركم الآن» when he is called, once per number.

  • Chairs right now

Who is in which chair and who is waiting; a chair that frees up calls the next client and opens his ticket.

  • Barbers take payment at the chair

A barber closes his own client's ticket and takes the money without a finance role, and every riyal lands in today's drawer under his name.

  • A father and his sons on one ticket

A household account on one mobile number, with a line per person on the same invoice.

  • Haircut cards you can extend and transfer

Sell a prepaid haircut card, draw each cut from it, and extend, transfer or freeze it with a preview first.

  • A nudge for the next cut

Each client has his own cycle; when he is overdue and has not booked he gets one message with your booking link, and the overdue list is in front of you.

How your day runs on Govia

  1. He walks in and takes a number

Add him to the queue by name and mobile; he gets his number and expected wait, while booked clients come in at their time.

  2. He is called to a chair

The free chair calls the next number on the display and by WhatsApp, and his ticket opens on his barber.

  3. He pays at the chair

Cut, beard and product on one invoice, in cash, by card or from his haircut card, with the tip going to the barber.

  4. You close with clear numbers

Today's sales by cash and card, each barber's takings and commission, and the drawer closed without counting by hand.

Why Govia

  • Made for men's barbershops

Queue, chairs, usual cut, clipper guard and beard shape: a barber's words and screens, not a ladies' appointment book.

  • Walk-ins and appointments together

Queue clients and booked clients share one day, so a booking never collides with a waiting turn.

  • Every barber's commission in plain view

A statement per barber with his cuts, takings and tips, which ends the month-end arguments.

  • A client portal

Clients see their turn, their haircut card balance and their invoices on their phone.

  • Arabic first, in your trade’s words

The whole system runs in Arabic, right to left, and names things the way your business does: client, patient, member or tenant.

  • Automatic WhatsApp messages

Booking confirmations, appointment reminders and verification codes reach your customers on WhatsApp without anyone typing them.

  • Local payments

Payment links with mada, Apple Pay and cards, plus instalments with Tabby and Tamara through Tap.

  • Tax invoices with QR

ZATCA-ready tax invoices with QR (generation phase), issued with every payment.

  • On Riyadh time

Appointments, reports and reminders run on Riyadh time and the Saudi working week, wherever the system is opened.

  • An assistant that answers and prepares

Ask it about your numbers and screens and it answers, then prepares the action for you to approve with one tap.

Questions before you start

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs in the browser on a phone, an iPad or a computer, and the call display opens on any screen in the shop. Choose Barbershop and your services, barbers and hours are set up.

Does the client get a message when it is his turn?

Yes. A message with his number and wait when he joins, and «دوركم الآن» when he is called. Both are on from the start and go out on WhatsApp once their templates are approved.

Do you support mada and Apple Pay?

At the till you record cash or card, or split them. Invoices and payment links are paid with mada, cards and Apple Pay depending on what the payment gateway enables; with Tap, Tabby and Tamara are available too.

Does it send WhatsApp reminders?

Yes: the appointment confirmation, a reminder the day before, and a next-cut reminder based on each client's own cycle if he has not booked.

Are the invoices ZATCA-compliant?

Every cut closes with a ZATCA-ready tax invoice with QR (generation phase).

Must clients pay a deposit?

No. A deposit is optional per service, and an ordinary haircut books without one. Add it only for a long service such as a groom's package if you want.
